The Restylane family of products includes Restylane and Restylane-L. These products can be used to add volume and fullness to the skin to correct moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds, such as the lines from your nose to the corners of your mouth (nasolabial folds).

Restylane has also been FDA approved for lip augmentation in patients over 21 years old.

Restylane filler injections include hyaluronic acid, a natural complex sugar that increases skin elasticity, providing a smooth and supple appearance. It is biocompatible, supplementing the body’s natural hyaluronic acid, age has depleted.

Restylane is used to treat deeper facial folds; the effects of the latter may last longer. Restylane-L contain lidocaine, which is a safe local anesthetic.

The transparent Restylane is injected with a syringe into the mid- to deep dermis of your face. The dermis is the subsurface skin layer that contains connective tissue, nerve endings, sweat and oil glands, and blood vessels.

Restylane filler injections improve your appearance by lifting and adding volume to the wrinkles and folds in the treatment area. After nine to twelve months, the biocompatible compound is naturally and safely absorbed into the body.
